We collect what we need to write you a useful plan, and nothing else. There are no accounts, nothing is sold to anyone, and the one tracker this site runs is named below.
What the request form collects
When you send a request, you give us:
- Your name, email address, and optionally a phone or WhatsApp number.
- Your country, so we quote in a sensible currency.
- A description of your project: what you are building, how it was built, whether it is live, whether it takes payments, whether it stores personal data, whether users log in, how customers find you, and whether you have backups.
- Your budget range, which plan you think you want, whether you also want paid support while you build, and — in your own words — what you are trying to achieve.
The email address is the only field we genuinely need in order to reply. Everything else exists so that the reply is worth reading. If a question makes you uncomfortable, skip it or write "prefer not to say" — we would rather have an incomplete request than one you regret sending.
Please do not send us passwords, API keys, card details, government identity numbers, or anyone else's personal data. If a review needs access to something, we will tell you how to share it safely when we get there.
Where your answers go
When you send the request form, your answers are transmitted to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that passes them straight to our mailbox. They process the data to deliver that one message and do not use it for their own purposes. Web3Forms operates servers outside India.
This site still has no server and no database of its own. Nothing is stored here; the message lands in our email and that is where it lives.
While you are filling the form in, your answers are held in your browser's session storage so that a dropped connection does not lose your work. That copy stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
Payment, when you get that far, happens on the payment provider's own systems: we receive confirmation and invoice details, and we never see your card or bank credentials.
Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where that is the case, the transfer is made to deliver the service you asked for.
What we do with it
- Reply to you with scope and a quote.
- Research and write your plan.
- Keep records of what we sold, which we are required to do for tax purposes.
- Improve the questions we ask. This is done by noticing patterns across many requests, not by publishing or sharing any individual one.
We do not sell what you tell us, we never hand your answers to an advertiser, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.
Confidentiality
What you tell us about your project stays between us. If we ever want to use a piece of work as a public example, we ask you first, and anything we publish without asking is anonymised past the point of recognition.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Where you became a customer, we keep the project record and the invoice for as long as Indian tax law requires us to, which is currently several years.
Cookies and analytics
We advertise on Google, and this site carries Google Ads conversion tracking so that we can tell whether an ad brought us someone real or simply cost us money. It sets a cookie in your browser, and when a visit reaches our thank-you page it tells Google that the click turned into a request.
What crosses to Google is that a conversion happened — not what you typed. Your project, your budget, and what you are worried about stay between you and us.
Any tracker blocker stops it, and this site works exactly the same with it blocked. We do not detect blockers and we will never ask you to switch one off.
Your browser also stores two things locally, both only in connection with the request form: a draft of your answers, and which currency to show you. Neither ever leaves your device, and both go when you clear site data.
We run no other analytics. There is no page-view tracking, no session recording, no heatmap, and no profile of you assembled anywhere.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@whataimissed.shop and we will act within 30 days, usually much sooner. The only thing we cannot delete on request is an invoice we are legally required to retain.
Age
This service is intended for adults. Students are welcome, but if you are under 18, have a parent or guardian contact us on your behalf.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions about any of it go to hello@whataimissed.shop, and we answer within one working day.
